Bug#850706: RFS: libdebug/0.5.2-1 (new upstream release, packaging updates)

Package: sponsorship-requests
Severity: normal

Dear mentors,

I am looking for a sponsor for the new upstream version of my
package "libdebug":

 * Package name    : libdebug
   Version         : 0.5.2-1
   Upstream Author : Peter Pentchev <roam@ringlet.net>
 * URL             : https://devel.ringlet.net/devel/libdebug/
 * License         : BSD-3-clause
   Section         : devel

It builds two binary packages that have been tested with sbuild, Lintian,
and cme:

  libdebug0 - Memory leak detection system and logging library
  libdebug0-dev - Development files for the debug library

To access further information about this package, please visit the following URL:

  https://mentors.debian.net/package/libdebug

Alternatively, one can download the package with dget using this command:

  dget -x https://mentors.debian.net/debian/pool/main/libd/libdebug/libdebug_0.5.2-1.dsc

More information about libdebug can be obtained from its
development site: https://devel.ringlet.net/devel/libdebug/

Changes since the last upload:

libdebug (0.5.2-1) unstable; urgency=medium

  * Acknowledge NMU; thanks, Jakub Wilk.
  * Use the HTTPS scheme for various Debian and upstream URLs.
  * Fix the upstream metadata file: Bug-Submit should be an URL.
  * Use single quotes around a constant string the rules file.
  * Bump the year on my debian/* copyright notice.
  * Build-depend on debhelper 10 now that it's even in jessie-backports;
    remove the Lintian override.
  * Switch the watch file back to pgpsigurlmangle, since pgpmode=auto may
    silently ignore a missing upstream signature.
  * Use the v4 substitution variables in the watch file.
  * Re-enable PIE in the build hardening flags.
  * New upstream release:
    - re-enable parallel building after it was fixed upstream
    - update the upstream copyright years and merge the upstream
      copyright clauses

Thanks in advance for your assistance!

G'luck,
Peter
