Hi,

even if not required, usually it is nice to ask maintainers to backport a package.

Since this is a leaf package (no library) and a nice and useful package, I sponsored
the upload, and cc'd the maintainers.
They can still ask to delete the upload, because it will end up in backports-new queue.
