Usage of r-base-core_3.3.2-1 in pbuilder somehow broken

Hi,

since yesterday I'm not able to build any r-* packages any more in
pbuilder. I get something like:

...
Selecting previously unselected package r-base-core.^M
Preparing to unpack .../102-r-base-core_3.3.2-1_amd64.deb ...^M
dpkg-maintscript-helper: error: dpkg: error: version '' has bad syntax: version string is empty^M
dpkg: error processing archive /tmp/apt-dpkg-install-7jWbcq/102-r-base-core_3.3.2-1_amd64.deb (--unpack):^M
subprocess new pre-installation script returned error exit status 1^M
dpkg-maintscript-helper: error: dpkg: error: version '' has bad syntax: version string is empty^M
dpkg: error while cleaning up:^M
subprocess new post-removal script returned error exit status 1^M
...

You can probably check this when building any r-cran-* package (I just
tried r-cran-rncl if you want a certain example). Any idea what might
went wrong here?

Kind regards

       Andreas.
