I think it would be best to get nixnote2 into NEW sooner than that. The ftp-masters are probably planning to empty the queue before the soft freeze, but there might not be enough time between the emptying of NEW and the soft freeze to get nixnote in. It would be a shame if qevercloud went into stretch and nixnote2 didn't! It's fine for packages that depend on other to be in NEW so long as the dependency relationships are not complicated. -- Sean Whitton
