Nice.

So, now, lintian already knows nearly everything I have to say:

I: python-nanomsg source: duplicate-long-description python-nanomsg python3-nanomsg
I: python3-nanomsg: hardening-no-bindnow usr/lib/python3/dist-packages/_nanomsg_cpy.cpython-35m-x86_64-linux-gnu.so
I: python3-nanomsg: extended-description-is-probably-too-short
I: python3-nanomsg: capitalization-error-in-description-synopsis python Python
I: python3-nanomsg: capitalization-error-in-description python Python
I: python-nanomsg: hardening-no-bindnow usr/lib/python2.7/dist-packages/_nanomsg_cpy.x86_64-linux-gnu.so

+ in d/copyright you wrote that upstream has copyright for 2013-2016,
but the only thing speaking about the copyright of this package is the
LICENSE file, which says only 2013.
The release you are packaging is from 2014, so there is really 0 chance
of the copyright being till 2016.

Also, you did not use git-dpm, as mandate inside the DPMT:
