Bug#814550: RFS: codecrypt/1.7.3-1 (ITP #814462)

Hi,
>This was done roughly for the same reason as with GnuPG, that has the "gpg" executable. Also I'm not quite a fan of using crypto without reading the manual >thoroughly :]

indeed :)

>Anyway, is there some best place (other than documentations) to notify the users? Possibly create a symlink codecrypt->ccr ?

not sure, you can also leave it as-is, I just suggested something, not asking for a symlink
(this would mean duplicate also the manpage, or make more confusion to users)

>>another issue: the binary is ~500k
>C++. :]

not an answer, the answer is:
"yes, it should probably have an internal library" :)

>I certainly considered that, thanks for the suggestion. Internally, codecrypt is structured pretty well and separation of the library shouldn't take much effort. >Also cool if anyone else would like to use the crypto in another application.

I think so!

feel free to implement that change, or discard it :)

thanks for the heads-up!
