Dear Mentors,
I am looking for a sponsor for my package gpvdm. To download the

Gpvdm is a tool to design and optimize solar cells. It was originally
written to help design plastic solar cells, a new type of low cost
solar cell based on conducting plastics rather than traditional more
expensive silicon. (as shown in this video:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o425pMjZL1Y) The model has now been
adapted to simulate many more type of solar cell including traditional
silicon solar cells and other novel 3rd generation devices.
I've developed the model over a period of 5 years and it has resulted
in quite a few publications: http://gpvdm.com/publications.html Over t
he last three years, I've been pushing the code to the web and produced
a windows exe. As there are no other open source alternatives, and
with the closed source alternatives costing quite a bit of cash, I
thought it would generally help the scientific community working in
solar energy harvesting to have the package in Debian. Having good
tools available to design better solar cells, will go a small way to
helping humanity transition to a low carbon future. I would therefore
be really appreciative of your support in getting gpvdm into the
repository.
I'm more than happy to make any suggested changes to the upstream code
needed.
