Hi, I see other changes:

I prefer a debian/manpages file, but this is just me :)

another issue:
Depends:
python3-yaml,


this should be already taken care with python3:Depends, because yaml
is listed in setup.py -> install_requires.
(please check, I didn't try the above)

the other stuff looks really good to me!

if you can address (some) of the above points, I'll happily sponsor it.
