Package: sponsorship-requests
Severity: normal

Dear mentors,

I am looking for a sponsor for my package "adjtimex"

* Package name    : adjtimex
* Version         : 1.29-6
* Upstream Author : Steven S. Dick <ssd@nevets.oau.org>, James R. Van Zandt <jrvz@comcast.net>
* URL             : http://metalab.unc.edu/pub/Linux/system/admin/time
* License         : GPL-2
* Section         : admin

It builds those binary packages:

  adjtimex - kernel time variables configuration utility

To access further information about this package, please visit the following URL:

  http://mentors.debian.net/package/adjtimex

Alternatively, one can download the package with dget using this command:

  dget -x http://mentors.debian.net/debian/pool/main/a/adjtimex/adjtimex_1.29-6.dsc

Changes since the last upload:
  * debian/adjtimex.service: add systemd service (Closes: #796588).
  * debian/dirs: add new path for systemd service
  * debian/control: limit "Architecture" to linux-any
  * debian/patches/:
    - change the patching order to follow 01->02->03
    - 03-remove-a-few-unused-variable-to-avoid-gcc-warnings.patch:
      remove a few unused variables to avoid gcc warnings.
  * debian/watch: update to use real upstream's URL

For the newly added systemd service, I already asked systemd pkg maintainer to
review the service file, which can be checked by https://bugs.debian.org/796588
Except the description part, which is minor, all others are considered
to follow the systemd's spec.

Thank you and look forward to your kindness sponsorship!

Cheers,
Roger Shimizu
