Package: sponsorship-requests
Severity: wishlist

Hi,

I finished packaging testpath, whose ITP is #799599, and would now need a sponsor :

* Package name    : testpath
  Version         : 0.2
  Upstream Author : Jupyter Development Team
* URL             : https://github.com/jupyter/testpath
* License         : MIT / Expat
  Programming Lang: Python
Description : Collection of utilities for Python code working with files and commands It contains functions to check things on the filesystem, and tools for mocking system commands
 and recording calls to those.

It is a test-dependency of IPython.

It is packaged inside the Debian Python Module Team repository :
Vcs-Git: git://anonscm.debian.org/python-modules/packages/testpath.git
Vcs-Browser: http://anonscm.debian.org/cgit/python-modules/packages/testpath.git

It builds those binary packages:

python-testpath - Utilities for Python 2 code working with files and commands python-testpath-doc - Utilities for Python code working with files and commands (doc) python3-testpath - Utilities for Python 3 code working with files and commands

To access further information about this package, please visit the following URL:

  http://mentors.debian.net/package/testpath

Alternatively, one can download the package with dget using this command:

dget -x http://mentors.debian.net/debian/pool/main/t/testpath/testpath_0.2-1.dsc

Thanks,

Snark on #debian-python

Well, Built&Signed&Uploaded.

I tried my best to spot packaging issues,
but the packaging was good.

Maybe for a future upload consider shipping README.rst too as a doc file.

(you already have the sphinxdoc, so maybe the README.rst is just useless)

cheers,

and thanks for your contribution to Debian!

G.
