Yes, definitely, according to the documentation [1], that's correct!
Having two separate patches to perform two (very) distinct fixes sounded a good idea to me. I'm not really sure about how to handle native packages, so I thought I'd better not touch it, so that I wouldn't introduce any new bugs. Anyways, note taken! Thank you! ;-)the problem is that you can leave the tarball as it was before, and add quilt patches, but I'm not sure this is the right thing to do... anyway please run a debdiff between the two dsc files and add them as quilt patches, lets see how it goes :) (it might be the best way to deal with future bugs) cheers, G. Instead of using quilt, I completely remade the QA work, patched the source directly and fixed a misspelling I made previously. Is that OK? I haven't uploaded that yet because I have a doubt regarding the procedure, which is: can I simply 'dput' it again to mentors or is there any procedure I should follow to remove the two previous 'dput' I made?
