Re: Transition question: "old binaries left on <arch>"

Hi Andreas,

> old binaries left on <arch>: libgenome-1.3-0 (from 1.3.1-7)

the problem was actually a cruft left because one rdep wasn't built.

you can see it there

https://ftp-master.debian.org/cruft-report-daily.txt

(I'm quoting, because on the next run it will be fixed, and ftpmaster will be able
to remove the old package without breaking any arch)

* source package libgenome version 1.3.1-8 no longer builds
binary package(s): libgenome-1.3-0
on amd64,arm64,armel,armhf,hurd-i386,i386,kfreebsd-amd64,kfreebsd-i386,mips,mipsel,powerpc,ppc64el,s390x
- suggested command:
dak rm -m "[auto-cruft] NBS (no longer built by libgenome)" -s unstable -a amd64,arm64,armel,armhf,hurd-i386,i386,kfreebsd-amd64,kfreebsd-i386,mips,mipsel,powerpc,ppc64el,s390x -p -R -b libgenome-1.3-0
- broken Depends:
progressivemauve: progressivemauve [mipsel]

that progressivemauve has been built for mipsel only 12 hours ago.

the first built didn't succeeed probably because of some rdeps still not rebuilt.

cheers,

G.
