Hi,

I'm searching for an sponsor of my initial package of Nltk 3.0:
http://www.nltk.org/

This is a major library for Natural language processing, but although the WNPP-Bug really is from 2004, it haven't made it into Debian so far:
https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=279422

The source package builds also a binary package for Python 3, and appears to be Lintian (-F) clean.

I'm not sure about the Copyright info "License: eGenix.com Public License" deriving out of the Ubuntu package (still 2.0) on which there remains a complaint by cme check dpkg-copyright.

Anyway, the debian patch is stored here:
http://anonscm.debian.org/viewvc/python-modules/packages/nltk/

Mentors upload:
http://mentors.debian.net/package/nltk
http://mentors.debian.net/debian/pool/main/n/nltk/nltk_3.0.0b1-1.dsc

Buildlog (build with Cowbuilder against Sid):
http://www.danielstender.com/buildlogs/nltk_3.0.0b1-1_amd64.build

Thank you very much for considering,
Daniel Stender
