Hi Mentors, I happened to take a look at the debcheck status for the GNS3 package[1]. The package depends on xdotool, as it is used by GNS3... but from the debcheck output I've discovered the xdotool is priority extra. Looking at this it would seem to me, that it is xdotool that is in the wrong section. This seems to be confirmed by some past discussions of extra vs optional [2][3]. Before I went ahead and changed anything or filed a bug report, I thought I'd get the opinion from here. Regards, Daniel Lintott [1] http://qa.debian.org/debcheck.php?list=&package=gns3&arch=&dist=sid [2] https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=731836 [3] http://lists.alioth.debian.org/pipermail/pkg-multimedia-maintainers/2013-December/035607.html
