No, I really want to substitute v2-0-1 to 2.0-1 as the
tarball on the download page

as well as the Debian package are named.

But that's wrong since 2.0-1 is the latest upstream version and the
download should only happen via --force-download.

The problem is that

   uscan --verbose --force-download

ends up in an error and my assumption is that this could / should be
fixed by a proper filenamemangle.
