Hi Davy,
N.B: I'm not a DD, so cannot sponsor your package myself. I'm also
fairly new to reviewing, so forgive me if I miss something!
The Review:
1. As your package is not yet in debian, the entries in debian/changelog
should be merged to a single entry, for the version of the package that
will enter Debian.
This will also ensure your ITP bug is closed correctly upon upload.
2. a. debian/compat - The current level is 9
b. debian/control - Build depend on dephelper can be changed to
debhelper (>= 9)
3. debian/rules - The dh_make comment can be removed from this file
4. The package builds successfully in my unstable chroot.
