just for curiosity, what parameters you used for lintian?I'm adapting postgresql module, but I didn't see some of those warnings. I was using 'debuild -S' and '-I -E --pedantic' for lintian. I wonder if you could point me out how to reproduce them.
I didn't use any special options other than the ones you used.Make sure you're using up-to-date version of Lintian (2.5.11 in experimental), and that you run it against both source and binary packages.
