need help in fixing bug #618388 of IPPLAN package

hi all,i  want to fix the bug #618388 of  IPPLAN package,but the  previious maintainer  stated that  " libphp-phplayersmenu  itself is not

 as i am a newbie  i do not understand why  *libphp-phplayersmenu*  is not being maintained?
