I don't have a strong opinion about that, but I think we can follow the
libc example: source package name to be changed to the name of the fork
but binary package name to be the same.
This was the question for the future, for now I can upload your
currently proposed changes.

Good. Another point which I now noticed is that you want to lowercase
the short description: s/Picks out/picks out/. So, please fix that, add
Vcs-* headers, fix changelog corrections above and I'll upload the
package.
