RFS: mpg321

Dear mentors,

I am looking for a sponsor for my package "mpg321".

* Package name    : mpg321
  Version         : 0.3.1-1
  Upstream Author : Nanakos Chrysostomos <nanakos@wired-net.gr>
* URL             : http://mpg321.sourceforge.net
* License         : GPL-2+
  Section         : sound

It builds those binary packages:

mpg321 - Simple and lightweight command line MP3 player

To access further information about this package, please visit the following URL:

	http://mentors.debian.net/package/mpg321

The package is lintian (v.2.5.4) clean.

The new changelog entries are:

        * Fixed debian/rules, configure.ac, volume.c, mpg321.c and remote.c
	  so that mpg321 can compile to architectures that do not support
	  ALSA.
	* Fixed typo ("lighweight") in the man page.
	  Thanks to A.Costa <agcosta@gis.net> (Closes: Bug#650150)

I would like to welcome the sponsors to check thouroughly the debian/rules and
debian/control files, the purpose of the changes is for mpg321 to compile
cleanly to architectures that do not support ALSA. Those arch's will not be
able to use the volume control while using the buffered output (even in Remote Mode).
The problem [0] appeared for hurd-i386, kfreebsd-amd64 and kfreebsd-i386.
I hope the proposed changes solve the problem.
The package builds without any problems with the latest pbuilder (0.206).

Alternatively, one can download the package with dget using this command:

dget -x http://mentors.debian.net/debian/pool/main/m/mpg321/mpg321_0.3.0-1.dsc

I would be glad if someone uploaded this package for me.

Kind regards,
     Nanakos Chrysostomos
