Hi Jerome,
You might like to have a look over the proposed workflow for using
sponsorship-requests on the wiki [0]. It looks like this case is
covered by adding the appropriate flag to the bug report subject line,
[ITA] in this case.

Sponsorees should also modify the RFA/Orphaned wnpp bug report to ITA as
described here [1].
