I forgot something. Since you're using dh_python2 (which
is a good thing), you need to:

Build-Depends: python-all 2.6.6-3~

as per:

http://wiki.debian.org/Python/TransitionToDHPython2

Reread /usr/share/doc/python/changelog.Debian.gz for that...
