The upload would fix these bugs: 587522 I want this package in Debian, and I want to maintain it because many people (including me) use this quite often, as tWMS is useful enough. tWMS is most used as a caching proxy for WMS and TMS services. Most typical its usage is as follows: - Yahoo! aerial imagery is provided as a JavaScripted web service, not as WMS - JOSM, the Java OpenStreetMap editor, uses WMS - local tWMS instance can fetch imagery from Yahoo! and provide it as WMS The package is quite popular in the OpenStreetMap community. Also, I know author personally, so it's easy for me to contact upstream.
