Hi, I think you will get in trouble with the FTP masters over the
debian/copyright file because it only says

License:

    GPL version 3
    see "/usr/share/common-licenses/GPL-3".

I think you must do something like in
http://www.debian.org/doc/maint-guide/ch-dreq.en.html#s-copyright do
make sure it is accepted. Also, the debian/watch file contains boiler
plate.

But most importantly, you should always run Lintian on your package:

$ lintian --pedantic lessfs_1.1.0-1_i386.changes
W: lessfs source: debhelper-overrides-need-versioned-build-depends (>=
7.0.50~)
W: lessfs source: out-of-date-standards-version 3.8.4 (current is 3.9.0)
P: lessfs source: source-contains-cvs-control-dir autom4te.cache/CVS
P: lessfs source: source-contains-cvs-control-dir etc/CVS
P: lessfs source: source-contains-cvs-control-dir CVS
E: lessfs: possible-gpl-code-linked-with-openssl
W: lessfs: manpage-has-errors-from-man usr/share/man/man1/lessfs.1.gz
133: warning: numeric expression expected (got `)')
W: lessfs: binary-without-manpage usr/sbin/defrag_lessfs
W: lessfs: binary-without-manpage usr/sbin/lessfsck
W: lessfs: binary-without-manpage usr/sbin/listdb
W: lessfs: binary-without-manpage usr/sbin/mklessfs
