The package synopsis should fit as a noun phrase in a sentence of the
form “<package-name> is a <package-synopsis>”. The capitalisation in the
above synopsis does not work for this.

There's no need to mention implementation language in the synopsis, nor
specific implementation libraries like MLT. This is best done with
debtags.

Most importantly: What sets this package apart from other non-linear
video editor packages, from the point of view of someone deciding
whether they want the package on their system?
