How to build-depend on linux-headers

Dear mentors,

in a package I'm preparing I need to build depend on linux headers,
but if I just put "linux-headers" in debian/control lintian shrieks
virtual-package-depends-without-real-package-depends
The problem is that AFAICS all the real packages in question are
either version-specific (linux-headers-2.6.29-1-all) or architecture
specific (linux-headers-2.6-amd64).
What should I do? Depend on all possible architecture specific
packages, ORred after linux-headers? Or on just one of them, and when
the buildd won't be able to satisfy the dependency it will pick a
suitable version? But in this case, why bother putting a real package
dependency if it can't be satisfied on most architectures?
Thanks,

Luca
