Well... If it was build by an buildd, it is mentioned in the build log.
E.g. klick on the mips line of
http://buildd.debian.org/pkg.cgi?pkg=hexedit and you'll see:

Automatic build of hexedit_1.2.12-3 on ball by sbuild/mips 99.99
