I really rocked my head about how to have a consistent source tree when I'm dealing with a package with several upstreams that I have to repackage myself. When I readed about 3.0 quilt I saw heaven open for me. Since my package can't have programming bugs nor security flaws at all (it is made only of images) actualizations are not critical, just convenient. We can (I think) live with the last 1.0 package while I still continue packaging in 3.0 format. After all, we've lived 5 years without any new version (7 years if we don't count NMU). Thanks for the answer er Envite
