This is my second attempt to search for a sponsor of my packages libgpiv, gpiv and gpivtools. Unfortunately the sponsor of the previous release is apparently too occupied as he did not react on my request. Please, is there any DD here who would like to sponsor my packages? Even if it concerns a high specialised niche software which will be used by a few amount of people. Having it in Debian will be advantageous for (aspirant) users because of the ease of installation on a wide-spectrum of CPU architectures. I also think it will be advantageous for the Debian distro itself having this type of software in its repository. Package: libgpiv-0.5.2 URL: http://libgpiv.sourceforge.net It builds the binary packages: libgpiv3, libgpiv3-dev: Description: Library for Particle Image Velocimetry (PIV) and libgpiv3-doc: Description: Documentation for libgpiv3 The package can be found on mentors.debian.net: http://mentors.debian.net/debian/pool/main/l/libgpiv The respective dsc file can be found at: http://mentors.debian.net/debian/pool/main/l/libgpiv/libgpiv_0.5.2-1.dsc Package: gpiv-0.5.2 URL: http://gpiv.sourceforge.net It builds the binary package: gpiv Description: Graphic User Interface program for Particle Image Velocimetry The package can be found on mentors.debian.net: http://mentors.debian.net/debian/pool/main/g/gpiv The respective dsc file can be found at: http://mentors.debian.net/debian/pool/main/g/gpiv/gpiv_0.5.2-1.dsc Apart from the Lintian tests, the packages have also been tested by myself on a clean system using pbuilder. Gerber -- developer of Gpiv: software for Particle Image Velocimetry URL: http:/gpiv.sourceforge.net I am often signing my outgoing emails with a GnuPG key, containing the fingerprint: BF0A BBFE 5623 9761 C9E1 7C82 8B08 F586 D39A 2B64 The key can be obtained from a public key server or can be imported directly to your key ring by typing: gpg --keyserver http://wwwkeys.eu.pgp.net --recv-keys D39A2B64 This allows you to check the authenticity of my (signed) emails. In case you will provide me your key, future mailings can be done by cripting the message, preventing that emails can be read by third parties.
