libdbi Debian packages

I have received this from my upstream.
Should I consider adding a /etc/ld.so.conf.d/libdbd.conf ?

I've asked you about this a while ago but it may have escaped your
attention. libdbi-drivers still has a feature request which actually
pertains to libdbi, see:

"I would like to make a feature request for the debian packages of
libdbd*. Please consider having the packages create the ld.so config
file that adds /usr/lib/dbd to the ldconfig path.
Such as
$ cat "/usr/lib/dbd" > /etc/ld.so.conf.d/dbd.conf
I think this is going to be the standard debian way of doing this sort
of thing in the near future.

Is that already implemented in the current packages? I'd like to close
