It is coming very very slowly, but povray will be free. The team
already bought the copyright to moray (the GUI modeller) will GPL it:

Packages need to be whitelisted. The person to contact for this is aba IIRC.

Upstream does MacOS versions since ages, so presumably not.

Per-arch Suggests does satisfy debcheck, just look at the suggests for nsis:
