Best practice for zope-applications?

Hi,

i'm currently preparing a package of zenoss, an open source network
monitoring system, based on python/zope.
I've read the python policies, but it seems to me, as if they would not
match on zope applications. Therefore my question is if there is some
documentation about best practises or policies regarding zope applications.

If this is not the right place to ask: Where could i ask?
