Do you perchance have the -v flag in the GZIP environment variable, or
are passing it to gzip (and gunzip) by default somehow? Because if this
is the case, then lintian will consider the output of gzip (something
like "file: 80.2% -- etc, etc") as an error message from man, and emit
that warning.
