uscan and two (same) release number in the url

Hi all,

I got a d/watch file like this

version=3
http://www.apache.org/dist/jakarta/tomcat-5/v(5\.0\.\d*)/src/jakarta-tomcat-$1-src\.tar\.gz debian uupdate

the release number in () is the same than the one in $1.

uscan finds the good number under the () but does not replace the result
with the $1.

Is there a way to do that?

If yes: how? ;-)
