RFS: openwbem - standards compliant system management software

I'm not sure whether this package should go to into unstable or
experimental. It is quote complicated piece of software and requires
some other software to become useful (specialized plugins [providers],
more sophiscated client tools etc. - some of it is already packaged,
ITPd and will be RFSd soon, hopefully today). OpenWBEM is a kind of
framework/server/agent which has to be extended with problem-specific
pieces.

Package can be grabbed from:
http://www.pronet.pl/~rlewczuk/debs/openwbem.

Use sblim-cmpi-* packages (available at
http://www.pronet.pl/~rlewczuk/debs) to evaluate the whole thing.

OpenWBEM is a set of software components that help facilitate the
deployment of DMTF's (Distributed Management Task Force) CIM/WBEM
technologies. If you are not familiar with DMTF and it's technology
standards, you might want to visit their website at http://www.dmtf.org.

WBEM stands for Web Based Enterprise Management which is a set of
standards and technologies intended to manage various aspects of
computer and software in standardized, object oriented manner. WBEM
objects represent various instances in the system (processes, network
interfaces, partitions, services etc.) and associations between
instances.
