Can't make a proper Debian package of a library

Hello

Please, CC me in the answer, I'm not subscribed to the list.

I want to become a new Debian developer, starting with the maintaining
of the Debian version of my own code. I tried to follow the "New
Maintainers' Guide" but it didn't help me, 'cos my code is a (quite
small) library. I readed too "the library packaging guide" but without
success.

Can somebody help me to package it? I want it to become (some day) a
piece of Debian.

Many Thanks

er Envite
