First of all, I should point out that I won't sponsor this package. I
don't use it at all, and don't have any idea of RAID - therefore I think

Why didn't you mentioned the NMU at all? Some thanks or so? Also, you
only closed one of the bugs fixed in the NMU.
Don't you think you should patch raidtools.5 to document the limit on
the comment length? And communicate the problem to upstream? (and it
should be "applies", not "apply's")
The changelog entry for #240384 isn't helpful - which debhelper program
do you use, and how is this related to the problem?
