Yep, apply as a New Maintainer. see http://nm.debian.org/

On the other hand, if you just want users to be able to verify the .dsc as
they download it, then just supply a link to you public key somewhere close
by (in the directory, or on your website). Most will look at the keyserver
network if needed anyway.
