Hi list,
I have a problem to run "fakeroot debian/rules clean" in one package
source tree while not in another. Any idea what could be the reason
for this behaviour ?
mkoch@asterix:~/sources/skstream/skstream-0.2.5$ fakeroot debian/rules
clean
dh_testdir
dh_testroot
rm -f build-stamp
/usr/bin/make distclean
make[1]: Entering directory

make[1]: *** No rule to make target `distclean'. Stop.

make: [clean] Error 2 (ignored)
test -r /usr/share/misc/config.sub && \
cp -f /usr/share/misc/config.sub config.sub
test -r /usr/share/misc/config.guess && \
cp -f /usr/share/misc/config.guess config.guess
dh_clean
mkoch@asterix:~/sources/skstream/skstream-0.2.5$ cd -
/home/mkoch/sources/uclient-static/uclient-static-0.15.1
mkoch@asterix:~/sources/uclient-static/uclient-static-0.15.1$ fakeroot
debian/rules clean
dh_testdir
dh_testroot
dh_testroot: You must run this as root (or use fakeroot).
make: *** [clean] Error 1
I'm clueless, any help and ideas appriciated.
