Question about seeking (finding) a sponsor

Hi.

I've packaged libchipcard (see below), and would like to see it included in debian.
- From the nm pages and related, I'm slightly confused about the appropriate order of
- - Getting my GPG-Key signed,
- - Finding a sponsor,
- - Applying as new maintainer, and
- - Filing an ITP.

Probably I'm just too stupid to look into the right docs, but I could not figure
it out, so I'd be glad if anyone could tell me.

have set up a mini-dinstall mirror at home, so I could add that if it helps).
The same packages are on upstream's download page.
(Sorry, if there are too many "German"s in this mail, but those are the uses
that I know of and which the author had in mind when writing it.)
