Pb upgrading package

Hi,

I have a problem upgrading a package.
In tkgate (1.6h-2), I used the default installation. The doc was in
/usr/X11R6/lib/tkgate-1.6h/doc. I couldn't have dhelp work with this :
Netscape kept looking in /usr/share/doc/tkgate-1.6h/doc instead of
/usr/share/doc/tkgate/doc.
I made a new version (which also corresponds to a new minor upstream :
1.6i-1). I put the doc in /usr/share/doc/tkgate/doc/. Moreover, I
noticed I had forgotten to add dh_dhelp in my debian/rule file. I
corrected this.

NB : Both packages are backportable to potato.
When I upgrade from 1.6h-2 to 1.6i-1 on potato, everything works
perfectly (and dhelp sees the documentation).
When I install 1.6i-1 from scratch (no upgrade) on my woody or potato,
it works.
However, when I upgrade from 1.6h-2, on woody, I encounter 2 problems :
1. the files in the directory /usr/X11R6/lib/tkgate-1.6/doc/fig are not
removed (this files exist in the package. They are simply installed, not
created during package built or else)
2. dhelp keeps looking for the doc in /usr/share/doc/tkgate-1.6h (h!)

I'm afraid the problem comes from my old (1.6h-2) package. However, I'm
not sure since it works on potato. What can I do now ?

Thanks in advance,
