w3c-libwww_5.4.0-2 build problems

[Please CC replies]

Hi,

I just uploaded a new version of libwww 5.4.0 to fix #151894 and the
build failed on sparc and ia64 with really bizarre symptoms. Are there
any problems with the autobuilders? What could be causing this?

On ia64, it can't find libwwwtrans.la even though that was
successfully built earlier on.

On sparc, the failure is completely different; libtool is told to
compile HTMulti.c. It successfully compiles the file in PIC mode, then
proceeds to also compile it for use in static libs, and the second
compilation fails!

Upstream re-libtoolized the package before release, all arches should
be supported.

Logs can be found at <http://buildd.debian.org/build.php?pkg=w3c-libwww>

Cheers,

  Richard
