I've used ClearCase's Windows cleardiff. If anything, tkdiff looks more
like cleardiff than tkxcd does! Particularly the toolbar buttons to
move between diffs and the column down the middle with coloured lines
indicating which lines have changed.

Comments about the tkxcd packaging..
In debian/control, the description is just "Diff front end".
I suggest you should be more verbose.

In debian/copyright, it says the package was debianized by
"unknown". Obviously this was generated by a tool (perhaps dh_make)
- yuck.

In debian/dirs you list usr/sbin, which you don't use. And then
debian/rules creates all the directories it needs anyway,
as well as calling dh_installdirs. You should use one method
or the other ie add all the directories in debian/dirs,
or remove it and the call to dh_installdirs.

The sample.tkxcdrc should perhaps go in /usr/share/doc/tkxcd/examples.

I think dh_compress will take care of compressing the man page, so
you don't need to do that yourself.

You should install the upstream HISTORY file as the changelog,
using "dh_installchangelogs HISTORY".

As Ben mentioned, the menu entry isn't useful.
