testing trouble
Hello,
I'd like to know what's holding up jack, python-cddb and python-id3
from entering woody. Jack depends on the two python-packages, and all
depend on python (>= 2.1), python (<< 2.2), as I understand is mandated
by Python-Policy.
All of those package built successful ona all arches AFAICT:
mbanck@auric:~$ madison jack
jack | 2.99.6-2 | testing | source, alpha, arm, i386,
ia64, m68k, mipsel, powerpc, s390, sparc
jack | 2.99.7-2 | unstable | source, alpha, arm, hppa,
i386, ia64, m68k, mips, mipsel, powerpc, s390, sparc
mbanck@auric:~$ madison python-cddb python-id3
python-cddb | 1.3-3 | testing | source, alpha, arm, hppa,
i386, ia64, mips, mipsel, powerpc, s390, sparc
python-cddb | 1.3-5 | unstable | source, alpha, arm, hppa,
i386, ia64, m68k, mips, mipsel, powerpc, s390, sparc
python-id3 | 1.0-1 | testing | source, all
python-id3 | 1.1-3 | unstable | source, alpha, arm, hppa,
i386, ia64, m68k, mips, mipsel, powerpc, s390, sparc
Update_excuses says WRT jack:
* jack (2.99.6-2 to 2.99.7-2)
+ Maintainer: Michael Banck
+ 28 days old (needed 10 days)
+ jack/m68k unsatisfiable Depends: python-cddb ['python-cddb']
+ Valid candidate
+ Depends: jack python-cddb
but python-cddb seems alright:
* python-cddb (1.3-3 to 1.3-5)
+ Maintainer: Michael Banck
+ 28 days old (needed 10 days)
+ Valid candidate
* python-id3 (1.0-1 to 1.1-3)
+ Maintainer: Michael Banck
+ 26 days old (needed 10 days)
+ Valid candidate
What does this 'unsatisfiable Depends' mean? Is it because python-cdbb
1.3-3 is not available for m68k in woody?
Everything else seems OK to me, I don't get it.
Could please somebody enlighten me?
thanks,
Michael
