Renaming a package source

Hi,

  I would like to rename the source file (.orig.tar.gz)  of
  a package.

  I'm thinking about:
  - changing the source name in the control file
  - changing the source name entries in the changelog
  - filling a bug against ftp.debian.org since the pool entry
    need to be renamed and probably moved elsewhere.

  Is this the right way? (Unless I'm wrong, the Developers Reference
  does not mention source renaling)
