Actually I don't have a tmp directory, but one with the same name as the
package itself...

But no sign of the manpage in there anywhere...

I'm using debhelper, and there's dh_installman listed in debian/rules, but
not dh_installmanpages...

I'm just modifying the debian/ directory created by

dh_make -e gdh@acentral.co.uk -f ../package-1.2.3.tar.gz

as directed in http://www.debian.org/doc/maint-guide/ch-first.html
