Great, so they're all broken. :/

I think install-info doesn't add to /usr/share/info/dir.gz, I think, so if
you have that file, it could be that you don't have any entries save Emacs'
in it. If it can read more dir files at once, then it's not so bad; if it
can't, then you have to remove the file.
