first install...help on a LAN from floppies
I'm on a network here at school....it is a tcp/ip network
What should I put for the domain name? Does it matter?
The network gives me the IP adress (DHCP server) how do I
configure when it asks..."what is the IP address of the sustem
debian?"
What should I put for the netmask
last bits set to one?
I have the IP gateway adress
What do I need to know about setting up the DNS server
options?
What about IP adresses of name servers? (enter up to 5)
How do I configure the base system if I have already gone
throught the installation...it doesn't recognize my initial
setup. Or anything else for that matter.
