Thankyou, Shaleh.  Obviously my original post was not clear.  ;)  I
take it from the sudden flood of messages *not* saying "oh yes, use
unstable.debian.org, what account name would you like?" that there is
no such service provided, and now that I think about it, it could be
troublesome anyway.

I've created a swapfile (byebye 32M /tmp partition, I never used you
anyway) as another respondent suggested, and will try to apply the most
recent debian changes to source out of CVS tonight.  If it's successful,
I'll probably post an intent-to-package.
