debhelper

To date, I've been using the deb-make packages to handle my packages... After
following a recent conversation, I figured I'd give debhelper a try but I'm
having trouble finding a suitable "Starting place" to aquaint myself with it.
Anybody point me in the right direction for learning debhelper?
